About AfriChild

The Africhild Center is a multi-disciplinary research institution dedicated to improving the lives of children across Africa. Established in 2013, the center focuses on generating high-quality research to inform policy and practice related to child welfare, protection, education, and health. The center collaborates with various partners, including Makerere University, the Ministry of Gender, Labour, and Social Development in Uganda, ChildFund International, UNICEF, and other esteemed organizations.
